Ensuring that each door and window of your home is childproof helps avoid accidents and injuries and maintains a safe environment for them.

Advances in technology have made being a parent easier. There are numerous child safety tools available today to monitor children and stop them from accessing unsafe areas. Installing child locks prevent a kid from opening the door and reduces the chances of injuries. It prevents them from opening the door and averts injuries due to moving parts of the doors. Child safety locks are a must for cabinets, doors, windows, and kitchen appliances.

There are different types of locks that can be well-placed to protect our kids:

Door Knob locks

Door knobs appear very attractive to kids, and there will hardly be any that will be left unturned. Investing in doorknob locks is a way to prevent accidental escapes. They are easy to install and fit over the existing doorknob. Doorknob locks are available in various shapes and sizes to make turning the knob more complicated. They are very affordable, and you can purchase them in multi-packs or individually.

Flip locks

They can be attached to the inside of the door frame using an adhesive to keep the doors closed, and prevent little ones from wandering outside. They are not easily noticeable and should be installed high enough to keep the kids from grabbing it. They are inexpensive and work best for hinged doors, sliding doors, pantry, or closet doors.
